The photo is lovely. It's the attic that's the treasure, however. What a great space. Don't give up on more treasure-things can turn up in the weirdest places!

So funny! I know. I was a bit too detailed on some of that, but it's confusing up there. Yeah, I just wish I'd nabbed more stuff. I do have a photograph I bought and then the people who live behind me bought a few photos that they said they were going to give me. So maybe I'll post some more when I get them. This one though is older than them all. I'm wondering if it's the Day family or the family that built it. It was just jammed down against the fireplace. Crazy. So exciting,t ho.

Cool treasure. Finding that photo, wow! I love your description of the photos of the attic, made me think of the Python sketch where the old lady was showing her niece photos of her house... I was waiting to read one that said; 'and here you can see the right side of the attic, but the left side is still visible, and you can just see the Spanish Inquistion hiding round the corner. ;) :D

Nah. I wrote it last year, had it all ready for a public reading. I just had to put the cover together. Now...I *do* have to come up with something for July, August, and September. How I'm going to do *that* I do not know.

Dear Val-Rae,

I loved this, made me cry to think that after years of you being unsettled, impermanent, making do, not making progress, that you have finally come home, to a place that will stimulate your creative genius (in design and writing).

I am smiling for you. Now rest, the work is just beginning!
